The PiperJet is an all-new single engine jet aircraft. Piper has chosen the Williams FJ44-3 model engine. This engine provides superb performance for the approximately 2,400 pounds of take-off thrust with a TBO of 4,000 hours. The aircraft is RVSM Certified, carrying six to seven passengers and is designed to be flown by a single pilot. PiperJet deliveries are expected to begin in 2010.
